One of the reasons I have started playing with Three.js is because Microsoft has bought Minecraft. It no longer works for me on Linux as they have disabled it from the login portion of the code. So after buying the game, they screwed over prior customers using Linux. There is absolutely no reason why a program written in Java should cease working on any operating system, so that was a targeted action. So now I am interested in making my own version, as Minecraft is one of my favorite games.
